Every night from the hillside comes a terrible howling sound. The animals just can't imagine what might be making it. The grown-ups tell their children that it's probably a wolf - it's ugly and scary and greedy and hungry for food! But when a little mouse on his own wakes up, he's got no one to ask, so he sets out to find out the truth himself!
