'Under an old tree, in a bleak and distant corner of the woods, they came across the mammoth. "Who's that?" whispered the squirrel. "The mammoth," whispered the ant, who even knew the names of animals that didn't exist.' These enchanting stories of friendship, memory, dancing and cake conjure up a world of imagination where anything can happen. Perfectly complemented by Jessica Ahlberg's delicate illustrations, these charming stories will captivate readers of all ages. 'The thoughtful and unusual stories have a lightness of touch making these poetic parables a delight for anyone lucky enough to read them.' -- The Bookseller
