The Queen has fallen in love with a portrait of the handsome King of Sicily and she orders Sir Rupert and his brave daughter Rosie to deliver a rather too flattering portrait of her to the King in the hope that he will want to marry her. In case this isn't enough she also sends twenty thousand gold coins. Sir Rupert knows that if anyone finds out that he's carrying such treasure they are bound to come after him. Fast and furious adventures follow and Sir Rupert returns with the gold and the King's refusal - but he keeps the Queen happy by letting her know that the King is the ugliest man in the world, quite unlike his portrait!
