A series of books providing ready-made collections of early years stories, songs, rhymes and information text all based around popular themes. The books are more than just anthologies, however, as each poem, story or rhyme is photocopiable and is accompanied by activity ideas showing how it can be used as a springboard for activities across the curriculum. All the ideas are carefully linked to the requirements of the new Early Learning Goals. This book introduces young children to many types of transport for different journeys people make. It includes trains, planes, cars, bikes, spaceships, boats, prams and horses. It also looks at the journey of a seed, Santa's journey and the way transport has changed over the years.
