Terry Milne was born in South Africa but is now based in Oxford, England. She has illustrated books with authors such as Martin Waddell, Angela McAllister and Vivian French, working with UK publishers such as Andersen Press and Walker Books. This is her first picture book for Old Barn Books. Jenny Nimmo is the acclaimed author of the Charlie Bone series. She has won several significant awards for her children's books, including the Nestle Smarties Book Prize and the Tir na n-Og Welsh Arts Council award for The Snow Spider. She lives in Wales with her husband, David.
