Angela McAllister is the author of several picture books on the Bloomsbury list. She lives in Hampshire. This is Jenny Jones's second book for Bloomsbury. She lives in Wales where she works as a fine artist as well as a picture book illustrator. This is the first time that Angela and Jenny have worked together. Karen Hayles is the author of several picture books. Karen lives in Bath with her family. Charles Fuge made his picture book debut with BUSHVARK'S FIRST DAY OUT, which won both the Macmillan Prize and the Mother Goose Award. Since then he has illustrated more than thirty picture books, including SOMETIMES I LIKE TO CURL UP IN A BALL, which was highly commended by the judges of the 2001 Kate Greenaway Medal.
