Franklin wants a shiny, red scooter just like his friend Rabbit's, but Franklin doesn't have enough money to buy one. To raise funds, Franklin sets up a lemonade stand and a yard sale --- but still falls short. Then he discovers that Rabbit wants a bicycle. Since Franklin already owns a bicycle, the two friends arrive at the perfect solution: sharing.

This Level 2 first reader contains longer stories, varied sentences, increased vocabulary, more difficult visual clues and some repetition.
