Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, Marion Rea Brian spent her early years riding streetcars and taking in all the magnificent sights of the Crescent City. As a certified instructor with a focus on student achievement and special education, her writing has allowed her to bring her passions for New Orleans and children together. Brian is a member of the National Association for Gifted Educators and lives in Georgia with her husband. Since she began coloring on walls as a child, Jennifer Lindsley has created artwork in almost every medium. She received her bachelor of arts in design technology from University of Northern Colorado and a license in art education K-12 from North Carolina Central University. Since returning to Louisiana, Lindsley has taught age-specific, specialty art classes for children and adults.
