Nicola Baxter has written or compiled over three hundred children's titles, and particularly enjoys the marriage of words and pictures that children's books entail. Lisa Fox had an apprenticeship as an illustrator and designer for the National Trust which led to a freelance career in graphic design. She holds a BA (Hons) in Illustration for Children's Publishing, and is a full-time illustrator.
