Patricia Quinlan is an award-winning author born in Toronto in 1953. She has published twelve books for children including, "My Dad Takes Care of Me" which won Our Choice Awards from the Canadian Children Books Centre. Patricia also teaches for the Toronto District School Board and would like to expand her writing to include playwriting. She lives in Toronto with her husband and son. Janet Wilson decided to return to school and study at the Ontario College of Art when her two sons reached school age. She concentrated on illustration, drawing and painting, and graduated with honors. Since then, Janet has worked in various types of illustration, and particularly enjoys illustrating books. Her other titles include Daniel's Dog , Mystery of the Lunchbox Criminal , Selina and the Bearpaw Quilt and In Flanders Fields . Janet works from her home studio in Toronto, Ontario.
