The "Bible Discoverers" series provides an informative and accessible means of finding out all about the Bible stories and why the Bible remains so important. This book charts the lives of three of Israel's greatest earthly kings: Saul, David and Solomon. King Saul becomes ruler over a disorganized band of tribes spread across Israel. He unites them into a powerful fighting force, winning victory after victory over Israel's increasing number of enemies.
