A seagull story with a difference, warm and comical it cleverly portrays the workings of one particular flock as it opens up its wings to a homeless flock of migrant gulls. The story revolves around the antics of two character gulls - Tom and Ollie, and has a charmning and memorable ending - but one you'll have to keep secret ! Equisitely detailed watercolour illustrations; each scene is different place in Cornwall (from Sennen Cove to Boscastle, St Ives to Fowey, The Lizard to Jamaica Inn Bodmin, to name but a few places beautifully portrayed in this original gull story.) The story is 36 pages, suitable for 4 - 104 year olds, and perfect for primary school teachers to help deliver many aspects of the school curriculum - perfect for themed topic work (the author is a former primary school teacher herself). A beautiful book set in Cornwall, and entirely produced in Cornwall.
