Josee Masse has always been drawing. Her father was a painter and as a child she remembers painting with him in his studio. After studying graphic arts in Montreal, she worked as a graphic designer before beginning her career as an illustrator. Josee loves illustrating books for children and enjoys working in her studio near Montreal. Jane Yolen has written almost three hundred books, many of them awardwinners. She lives in St. Andrews, Scotland, and Hatfield, Massachusetts.
