Jane Sutton is a children's book author, teacher, presenter, and tutor whose love of reading and humor began at a young age. She received a bachelor of arts in comparative literature from Brandeis University and then went on to be a copywriter. She has worked as a special-education and writing tutor at middle school and college levels. Sutton is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. She has published nine children's books. Sutton lives with her husband in Lexington, Massachusetts, and they have two grown children. Peter Welling is the recipient of the Distinguished Alumnus Award from the College of Arts and Sciences, Indiana University South Bend and the Publisher's Choice Award for Exemplary Non-Fiction. In addition, his illustrations have been nominated for a Pushcart Prize.
