A charming winter-warmer of a bear story by one of Britain's best loved author/illustrators, Jan Fearnley. On a beautiful, crisp winter morning, Bear sets off up the mountain - because it's a perfect day for it! One by one his friends, Badger, Fox, Squirrel and Mole, unaware of the real reason for his expedition, follow him - tramp, tramp, tramp - up the mountain. Is he going for honeycomb, or snowballing, to look for bugs, or even search for treasure? Oh, no. Bear is only interested in one thing and his friends soon find out what - 'climb aboard!' he shouts, and off they go, sliding down the mountain. Perfect!
