"Rickshaw Girl" by Mitali Perkins follows the story of a young girl named Nimmer who dreams of becoming an artist in Bangladesh. Faced with the limitations that her gender imposes on her, Nimmer finds her creativity stifled. In a moment of desperation, she uses her artistic talent to help her family, which leads her to disguise herself as a boy and drive a rickshaw. Through her journey, Nimmer learns about identity, courage, and the importance of following one's dreams, even in the face of societal expectations. The story celebrates resilience and the power of art as a means of empowerment. [Generated by language model - please report any problems].
