"The Curse of King Tut's Mummy" explores the fascinating discovery of King Tutankhamun's tomb in 1922 by archaeologist Howard Carter. The book delves into the history and mysteries surrounding the young pharaoh, who reigned during ancient Egypt's New Kingdom. It uncovers the treasures and artifacts found within the burial site, as well as the eerie legends of a curse that supposedly befell those who entered the tomb. Through engaging storytelling, readers learn about the archaeological techniques used in the excavation, the significance of the artifacts, and the impact of this discovery on our understanding of ancient Egyptian culture and history. Since that first experience in the Arctic, Nunavut has been the only place he has been able to call home. Neil has worked with many community members to record and preserve traditional Inuit stories. Together with his colleague, Louise Flaherty, and his brother, Danny Christopher, Neil started a small publishing company in Nunavut called Inhabit Media Inc. , and has since been working to promote Northern stories and authors.
