Matt Doeden is a freelance author and editor from Minnesota. He's written numerous children's books on sports, music, current events, the military, extreme survival, and much more. His books Sandy Koufax (Twenty-First Century Books, 2006) and Tom Brady: Unlikely Champion (Twenty-First Century Books, 2011) were Junior Library Guild selections. Doeden began his career as a sports writer before turning to publishing. He lives in Minnesota with his wife and two children. Anthony Wacholtz has been a baseball fan since he was old enough to pick up a bat and ball. He earned a degree in English from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and has written a biography for young readers of All-Star catcher Joe Mauer. Besides playing softball and following his favorite team, the Minnesota Twins, he enjoys pitting his baseball knowledge against others in fantasy baseball. James Nathan grew up in a small village in Worcestershire, England. He attended Worcester College of Art and Design and then went on to do a degree in Illustration at UWIC (now Cardiff School of Art and Design). At thirteen James discovered Photoshop and has been using it ever since. At eighteen he got his first graphics tablet and since then digital painting has been his main focus. James now lives in the city of Bristol, UK with his girlfriend and cat who are both a large source of inspiration, both in life and work.
