Bug Team Alpha is a special operative force. Once residents of Earth, these men and women underwent DNA enhancements and now have insect-like features and characteristics, giving them an edge in their fight to protect the universe. From dragonfly wings to sensitive antenna to grasshopper legs, the team uses their special powers to work together to achieve special missions for the Earth Defense Force (EDF). These stories will intrigue young readers with sci-fi elements and military-style missions. Laurie Sutton has read comics since she was a kid. She grew up to become an editor for Marvel, DC Comics, Starblaze, and Tekno Comics. She has written Adam Strange for DC, Star Trek: Voyager for Marvel, plus Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Witch Hunter for Malibu Comics. There are long boxes of comics in her closet where there should be clothing and shoes. Laurie has lived all over the world, and currently resides in Florida. Anthony Wacholtz has been a baseball fan since he was old enough to pick up a bat and ball. He earned a degree in English from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and has written a biography for young readers of All-Star catcher Joe Mauer. Besides playing softball and following his favorite team, the Minnesota Twins, he enjoys pitting his baseball knowledge against others in fantasy baseball. James Nathan grew up in a small village in Worcestershire, England. He attended Worcester College of Art and Design and then went on to do a degree in Illustration at UWIC (now Cardiff School of Art and Design). At thirteen James discovered Photoshop and has been using it ever since. At eighteen he got his first graphics tablet and since then digital painting has been his main focus. James now lives in the city of Bristol, UK with his girlfriend and cat who are both a large source of inspiration, both in life and work.
