Great for age 3-9 years
A contemporary fairytale about overcoming, fear. There was once a boy who had a cloth of dreams. His grandmother made it for him when he was born to keep the dark night things away. But one day he tripped on it and tore it, and through the holes a chain of nightmares came -a frightful hag chased him, a huge fish swallowed him...He asks his grandmother to mend the cloth. She tells him he must climb a dark staircase to the roof and fetch threads from the sun and the moon. Plucking up his courage, the boy does just that, overcoming his fear.
