Comprehension Success is a course in comprehension practice at Key Stages 1 and 2. The texts are authentic, and selected from a broad range of genres. The questions progress in difficulty, and ensure that your pupils achieve success in comprehension skills. Texts have been selected to represent the full range of genres, from quality fiction and poetry to every kind of informational text. Questions are graduated to allow for differentiation within the class and to practise factual recall, inferential understanding and practice in writing in the appropriate genre. The teacher's book provides further background to the texts, answers to the questions, and practice for pupils preparing for tests.
