In "The Monstore" by James Burks, a young boy named Mitch visits a mysterious shop that sells all kinds of fantastical monsters to help him solve his problem of dealing with his pesky little sister. Excitedly, he chooses a few monsters, each with unique traits, and brings them home. However, things take an unexpected turn when the monsters begin to have minds of their own, leading to hilarious and chaotic situations. Mitch soon realizes that the monsters cannot be controlled, and he must find a way to resolve the chaos while learning valuable lessons about responsibility and sibling love.
