From jellyfish to tuna, from sharks to whales, sea creatures abound in this illustrated book. A toy boat is launched on a Californian beach and bobs along ocean currents, past the giant kelp forests of the Pacific, past Australasian coral reefs and the Cape of Good Hope. The book is a simple introduction to the sea and its creatures for young children. A map on the endpapers allows children to follow the journey from beginning to end. Jakki Wood is the author/illustrator of the "Animal Parade" series, "Number Parade", "Fiddle-i-Fee", "Animal Hullabaloo" and "Bumper to Bumper".
