A wonderful collection of favourite poems all about animals, selected by the well-known poet, Jack Prelutsky, and beautifully illustrated by Meilo So. Prelutsky has selected a wide-range of poems from writers, including Ted Hughes, Grace Nichols, Robert Frost, Ogden Nash and many more. The collection have been divided into accessible sections, each one featuring a different type of animal, ranging from the smallest insects to the largest mammals, and introduced by a specially-written poem by the compiler himself.
