"Penny Penguin" by Matt Mitter tells the charming story of a little penguin named Penny who dreams of standing out among her peers. While her friends waddle with confidence, Penny feels uncertain and small. Determined to be unique, she embarks on an adventure filled with colorful discoveries. As she navigates the icy landscape, Penny learns that being different is a strength, not a weakness. With each challenge, she uncovers her own special talents and ultimately embraces her individuality. This delightful tale highlights themes of self-acceptance and the importance of celebrating what makes each of us special. [Generated by language model - please report any problems].

Matt Mitter is originally from Northwest Arkansas and now makes his home in New Jersey. He has written dozens of children's books, mostly in verse. After graduating from Cornwall School of Art & Design in 1982, illustrator Steve Cox went to work for a design firm, creating a variety of licensed characters, in particular those for Roland Rat, a British television series. In 1987 he established Primary Design, which quickly became the approved studio for the illustration and design of many well-known TV characters. After about five years, however, despite his success, he decided that the drawing board was more satisfying than running a company, and he returned to full-time illustration. Steve lives in Bath, England. Jo Brown was born in County Durham. She originally trained in fashion and textile design but now writes and illustrates children's books. Her favourite subjects are dogs, cats and chickens. Jo has a studio in Brighton and is busy working on her next project - but it's a secret!
