Toby Forward is a parish priest and divides his time between the church and writing for children. His books include the widely acclaimed Wyvern Quartet and the pop-up "Shakespeare's Globe". Izhar Cohen trained as an artist in Jerusalem and in Paris. He has worked for The Times and was also commissioned by Royal Mail to design a set of stamps in honour of the author Rudyard Kipling. Toby Forward lives in Beverley in North Yorkshire, and is a parish priest in Hull, although he still manages to devote time to writing. He is married to a teacher, and they have two daughters.
