This series helps children to learn different art techniques by following examples and step-by-step activities in each book. This title gives all the information a beginner will need to know about cartoons and animation. All the activities produce fun and attractive finished items which children will actually want to create. On many spreads there are photos and tips which provide masses of additional ideas for things to make and try. These books provide a wealth of original projects, but they don't require a long list of expensive materials: a double-page spread at the beginning of each book illustrates the things that are needed to complete every item. This series has a focused approach to skill building with straightforward, step-by-step illustrations, attractive end results, clear artwork and bold photographs which makes this series an excellent resource for the classroom and the home.
