Disappearing Acts is a beautifully illustrated search-and-find book. Each page features a densely detailed lanscape; rainforest, mountains, coral reef, freshwater, etc. Within these landscapes are hiding threatened species ranging from the numbat to the snow leopard, and children are invited to search the picture to find each one. Alongside each illustration run descriptions of the animals, their numbers, their habitats and why they are endangered. At the back of the book, a glossary of animals breaks down the details of each species and why it is endangered. A delightful way to learn about our beautiful planet and the rich bio-diversity that inhabits it.
