This is Jim Carrington's first novel. He is a teacher and lives with his family in Raynes Park, south-west London. Jonathan Emmett is an internationally successful author and winner of the KS1 Stockport Schools' Award . Jonathan is also the author of THE SANTA TRAP for Macmillan Childrens Books. Natalie Smillie grew up in Devon, England, and was not quite born with a pencil in her hand but pretty close! She's done lots of things with her life so far including joining the Royal Air Force, moving to Scotland, and going back to college at twenty-seven. Natalie currently lives in northern Ireland with her husband, dog (Maggie), and an aloe vera plant named Kingston. She's obsessed with toffee, tea, and carrot cake, and if she could be an item of clothing she would be a cardigan. A former teacher and head of sixth form, Ian Whybrow is now a full time author. Anita Ganeri is an award-winning author of children's books, specializing in geography. Andy Belcher is an international freelance photographer based in New Zealand. A specialist in adventure travel and underwater action. Kathryn Harper is the co-author of Cheeky Monkey, a three-level course for very young children. She has also written Galaxy, Time for English, See Saw, All Star English and a new pre-primary course for China. She has also written a number of readers, electronic materials and reference materials for different projects. Kathryn used to work as an international publisher at Macmillan where she published books for Africa, The Middle East and Latin America.
