Ray Blockley and John Rolfe, Series edited by Jayne de Courcy Steve Goldsmith has been a science teacher, a GCSE Moderator and Examiner and a Chief Marker for Key stage 3 Science Tests. He has recently been Professional Officer for Science at QCA - the national Qualifications and Curriculum Authority. The author, Patricia Miller, is a Science Adviser for Key Stage 3. She was previously Head of Department and is an experienced writer and SATs marker. Ian Richardson is an Ofsted Inspector and a member of the Centre for Research into Primary Science and Technology at Liverpool University. He also works with QCA on the KS3 National Tests. Steve Goldsmith has been a Chief Marker for Key Stage 3 Science and Principal Support Officer for Science at QCA. He is now a senior LEA Adviser.
