Aimed at teachers, this book on maths assessment, is intended to assist and support teachers in observing, analysing, describing and documenting individual children's achievement. The two main functions are diagnostic (assessment for the purpose of planning instruction for individual needs) and celebratory (documenting each pupil's progress and strengths). SPA Maths Assessment KS2 will broadly follow the structure of the literacy titles. The activities will systematically address the maths PoS, and progress according to the level descriptions. Some of the activities will be differentiated by outcome, while other more closed activities will be presented at several levels of difficulty.
