It contains a secret code that reveals the whereabouts of a hoard of pirate treasure.4. Its on the National Curriculum Official Government Approved Reading List of Very Important Books. (OK we lied, but you never know). 5. All your friends have read it and you don't want to be left out when they start saying stuff like, 'Wow, that list on page seventy-five is SO funy!' But most of all - because its very, very silly!

Tony Bradman was born in London in 1954. He has written poetry, picture Ian Cunliffe worked at Shepperton Studios, creating special effects, and spent five years as a designer and illustrator at Penguin Books before becoming a full-time illustrator. Today, Ian works from home where he watches green parakeets fly past his studio window! He has created artwork for well-known children's books, including 'A Very Fishy Battle' by Jeremy Strong.
