Brilliantly illustrated, this picture book follows Ollie and his family on an eventful journey to see a total eclipse of the sun. Ollie would much rather be at home playing with his friends, and his mood does not improve when they encounter obstacles along the way. Will they manage to see the eclipse, and will Ollie realise that his parents just want him to share in this unique moment?

Ian Cunliffe worked at Shepperton Studios, creating special effects, and spent five years as a designer and illustrator at Penguin Books before becoming a full-time illustrator. Today, Ian works from home where he watches green parakeets fly past his studio window! He has created artwork for well-known children's books, including 'A Very Fishy Battle' by Jeremy Strong.
