Ian Beck has collected his favourite nursery stories together for this book, and retold them in his own words. Little Red Riding Hood meets the wolf, Little Red Hen outwits the vixen, and the Gingerbread Man runs away. Among the other familiar characters are the Three Little Pigs, Goldilocks, and Jack and the Beanstalk. The book is illustrated in full colour in Ian Beck's own inimitable style, and the beautiful illustrations throughout make this a collection of stories to treasure.
