In "Gemini Summer" by Iain Lawrence, the story follows a young boy named Jamie who spends his summer in a small, coastal town with his father. Amidst the backdrop of a mysterious lighthouse and an intriguing group of locals, Jamie discovers secrets that intertwine with his own family history. As he navigates friendship, betrayal, and adventure, Jamie's summer becomes a transformative experience. He learns the complexities of human relationships and unearths the significance of choices and their consequences, leading to a poignant coming-of-age revelation.
