This is a beautiful retelling of "Psalm 23" in a way that is easy to read and accessible for children. It is told from the perspective of David the shepherd and with stunning, colourful illustrations which back up the story in an appealing way. It includes the full text of "Psalm 23" taken from the Contemporary English Version. It is suitable for children aged 5-7, and parents, grandparents, and godparents. It is also ideal as a Sunday school prize or gift to School libraries. Combining the well-known story-telling skills of Jan Godfrey and the illustrations of bestselling Honor Ayres, this is the words of "Psalm 23" interpreted for young children. Told from the perspective of David the shepherd and with stunning, colourful illustrations, this book helps children understand the well-known "Psalm" better and poses the question: 'Would you like God to be your good Shepherd?'
