This title contains important messages from the Sermon on the Mount retold in a way that is easy to read and accessible for children, focusing on a young boy listening to Jesus and relating what Jesus says to his own life. Stunning, colourful illustrations back up the story in an appealing way. It includes the Beatitudes and the Lord's Prayer. It is suitable for children aged 5-7, parents, grandparents, and godparents, as well as a Sunday school prize or gift or for school libraries. Combining the well-known story-telling skills of Jan Godfrey and the illustrations of bestselling Honor Ayres, this is the message of Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount interpreted for young children. It includes the Beatitudes, and the way God wants us to live happily with each other. Jesus knew the secret of happiness - and he shared it with everyone he knew.
