Great for age 3-6 years

A brilliant tale of sibling rivalry which culminates in a happy ending. The ideal picture book for a child expecting a new brother or sister.

Lucy's new baby brother, William, is noisy and smelly, so Lucy insists he is returned to the hospital. She'd like to try another - less annoying - baby brother instead. But after trying a succession of babies from the New Baby Department, who turn out to be too boring, too hairy, and even too scary, it dawns on Lucy that maybe baby William wasn't so bad after all. In fact, he's perfect - as far as babies go, anyway!

Tony Bradman and Holly Swain combine to create a cheeky, funny and well-observed story of family life and handling a new arrival.
