Gerda the silly goose is determined to fly to the moon.

In her search for the best way to get there, she meets a whole host of extraordinary and bizarre characters. Through them she learns that her immediate world is a wonderful place and there is no need to look further afield for happiness. This exceptional text has a strong message wittily told and beautifully depicted by David Melling's outstanding illustrations.
