As Tintin pursues a gang of drug smugglers he's locked up in the brig of Kapten Haileabo's ship, where the captain is under the influence of the bottle and under the thumb of his dastardly crew. With the scorching Sahara desert at one hand and the depths of the Mediterranean on the other, Tintin and his friends in some dangerously dire straits.

The presenter of "Word of Mouth" on BBC Radio 4, he received the Eleanor Farjeon Award for services to children's literature in 1997. He lives in London. Gabriel Rosenstock is an Irish writer. A member of Aosdana, he is a poet, haikuist and translator. Born in Kilfinane, County Limerick, he currently resides in Dublin. Kevin Waldron is an Irish illustrator. His first picture book Mr Peek and the Misunderstanding at the Zoo won the Bologna Ragazzi Award Opera Prima Award in 2009. Tiny Little Fly won the 2011 Bull-Bransom Award for excellence in the field of children's book illustration with a focus on nature and wildlife.
