A month-by-month celebration of a year in the life of a city by an award-winning author. As the year turns, the city changes. The snow and ice in January; the wind and Chinese New Year in February; spring-cleaning in March; the Easter holidays in April; the blossom of May; the blooming of June; the heat of July; the August exodus and mass arrival of tourists; the beginning of a new school year and football season in September; Halloween in October; the rain and gloom of November; and Christmas in December... Then it's January again! The years keep turning.

Pippa Goodhart is a full-time author and does numerous visits to schools. She lives in Leicester with her husband and three children. Paul Howard lives in Ireland and works as a full-time illustrator.
