The education White Paper "Excellence in Schools" states that by 2002 there will be national homework guidelines. This new series will be a valuable add-on to "Developing Mental Maths" should teachers want a complete scheme for mental maths, but should also stand alone as a homework package in its own right. These are "shared homework" activities to be taken home and supported by a parent or carer. Each page concentrates on one strategy, offering an investigation or game, together with a letter to the parent or carer explaining the maths and how best to help the child in his/her strategy development.

This book is part of a book series called Mental Maths Homework .

There are 48 pages in this book. This book was published 2000 by Scholastic .
