This simple, interactive retelling of the Christmas story uses a clever, innovative approach to stimulate young readers and involve them in the action. Place your child's photo on the back page and see it show through cut-outs in the other pages putting the child right in the midst of the story; peeking at Gabriel and Mary, through the inn window, as a shepherd, in the crowd outside Herod's palace...The simple text gently questions readers, encourages them to find answers in the illustrations, and helps to make the story come alive.
