Everybody is in such a hurry these days - mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers. It seems as if the only people who aren't in a hurry are grandfathers. With them there is always time to stop . . . and look . . . just as long as you like.

Originally published in l961, this gentle story about the warm relationship between the oldest and the youngest members of the family is beautifully re-illustrated by Jan Ormerod to delight a whole new generation of readers.
