A magical tale about the importance of bedtime stories. In every house, in every bed, A bedtime book was being read... But then, one night, all the animals' bedtime story books start disappearing. One brave rabbit sets out to solve the mystery - and finds that it's a sad little Snatchabook, a small, magical creature who just wants someone to read to him.

Thomas Docherty was born in New Zealand but has spent most of his life in England. His picture books have been shortlisted for a variety of awards, including the CILIP Kate Greenaway Medal in 2009 for Little Boat. Helen Docherty wrote (and illustrated) her first picture book at the age of six. Her first professional publication, The Snatchabook, was published by Alison Green Books, snatching up 17 coeditions and 2 major UK prize shortlistings. Helen has spent most of her career as a language teacher and also has an MA in Film and Television Production. She has lived and worked in France, Spain, Cuba and Mexico, and now lives in Swansea with her husband and two young daughters.
