These three easy-to-read stories are all humorous - but scary! In "Snakes Alive", Bobby Bloggs fancies becoming a snake-charmer but has reckoned without Wizard Welkin, whose enchanted snake finds its way into Bobby's rich great-auntie's bed. "Through The Witch's Window" involves Lily Dollop, who breaks a window and is then pursued by a strange black star. And last but not least, "Amos Shrike, The School Ghost" comes to haunt Basil Nobbs when he decides to vandalise the headmaster's room.
