Children all over the world are very different, but they also have much in common. In this beautifully illustrated book, young children can learn all about what people in other countries eat, wear and play, and how they speak and celebrate. From breakfasts to birthdays, cakes to clothes, and hiccups to hellos, there are so many ways to say and do things - but everyone shares a love of family, friends, food and fun. This delightful book teaches us that despite different languages, customs andtraditions, it really is a small world, after all.

Harriet Lynas is a children's book illustrator living in Cambridge with her husband and their son. As a child, she was a big fan of Studio Ghibli animations and later she developed a taste for mid-century style illustrations. Harriet's inspiration comes from random things like marvellous fossils, or a cone of pistachio gelato on a hot summer day. Isabel Otter is a children's book editor and writer. She grew up in rural Herefordshire, and spent much of her childhood in trees. Isabel loves weaving stories and writing about the world around her. She currently lives in London. Moira Butterfield is an experienced children's non-fiction author, with more than 100 books to her credit.
