An illustrated ABC presenting scenes and themes from the world of Islam. It should appeal to both a Muslim and an international audience. The book contains 26 colour plates, each given to a single letter of the western alphabet. In the centre of each plate is a verse, surrounded by detailed illustration with familiar Muslim scenes and symbols. The concept that the Prophet's message is for people and children of all times and places is emphasized, and the Qur'an and Hadith are echoed, along with other Islamic texts and traditions. The concepts and vocabulary are aimed at adult readers, but the illustrations and verses should attract children too.
