Elephant's Story is a gorgeously painted and wonderfully told story that introduces young readers to natural history. This is non-fiction at it's freshest - filled with clear information and facts as well as drama and excitement.

Harriet Blackford earned her degree in Zoology from the University of London and began her career there in the zoology department. Mike Henson studied Visual Communication and has been working in children's publishing since. Yugoslavian-born author and illustrator Manya Stojic has a wonderful way of creating simple texts and then enriching them with her brightly coloured illustrations. Rain is her first book. Manya lives in North London with her husband, author Ken Wilson-Max.
