Hannah Shaw is the hugely talented illustrator of the award-winning THE GREAT HAMSTER MASSACRE. She has also written and illustrated several successful picture books, including EVIL WEASEL and ERROL. Her brilliant work on CROCODILES ARE THE BEST ANIMALS OF ALL by Sean Taylor attracted the attention of the judges when it was shortlisted for the 2009 Roald Dahl Funny Prize. After graduating from Oxford with a first-class degree in English, Megan Peel worked in advertising for ten years, where she was involved in a variety of projects that included an anti-knife-crime campaign for the Home Office, working alongside young people involved in gang violence. Megan has wanted to be a writer ever since she read Roald Dahl's Revolting Rhymes as a child, and after attending a children's writing course in 2008 she decided to quit her job to write full time. Megan lives in Yorkshire with her husband and two cats; this is her first novel.
